MINISO Accelerates Expansion; Bulgaria is Next Destination
On May 31, 2018, MINISO held a grand signing ceremony for reaching cooperation with SMART RETAIL EOOD Corporation of Bulgaria. Mr. Ye Guofu, the global co-founder and CEO of MINISO, Mr. Vincent Huang, vice-president of MINISO International Operation Center, Mr. Artashes Vardanian, CEO of SMART RETAIL EOOD Corporation, Mr. Vahagn Vardanian, CFO of SMART RETAIL EOOD Corporation and a few senior executives of both parties were present at the signing ceremony.

Mr. Vincent Huang addressed the conference that with rich distribution experience, Smart Retail is a powerful corporation with 20 retail brands, including Orsay, ECCO, Salamander and Diesel, which mainly focuses on fast fashion and footwear. MINISO has been attached great importance to the cooperation between both sides. In line with the principle of win-win cooperation and complementary advantages, both sides will carry out all-round cooperation at various levels, such as resource integration, store collaboration, and so on. Since its establishment, MINISO has popular with consumers all over the world for its comfortable shopping environment and “high-quality, creative and low-price” products. Vincent believed that MINISO will develop well in Bulgaria, bringing “high-quality, creative and low-price” products to local consumers.

Mr. Artashes Vardanian, the representative of Bulgaria partner expressed his expectation of cooperating with MINISO, and he believed that this cooperation will certainly open up a new retail model in Bulgaria. Furthermore, Mr. Artashes also indicated that the SMART RETAIL EOOD Corporation is planning to open 25 MINISO stores in Bulgaria, among which the first store will open by the end of this year.
